I just found the coolest looking acrylic dpns at Hobby Lobby this week. Had to buy them!

Another Cushy Baby Blanket

This past week, I decided to make a quick gift for a friend that's having a baby soon. I grabbed a skein of Lion Brand Homespun, and two skeins of Bernat Baby Coordinates and made another Cushy Baby Blanket.

I had to change colors of Homespun yarn, to make sure I had enough, which gave it an interesting look.

So quick and fun. And CUSHY!! :D

Woo Hoo! Free Yarn!! :D

Sara from Cottage Yarn recently gave me a few bags of yarn for my charity knitting. So nice!



I'm so blessed to have such a generous friend. :D

Mother's Day Knitting

I was able to finish knitting a few things for my Mom for Mother's Day.

A felted clutch handbag, made with Lion Landscapes yarn.


And a dishcloth & scrubbie set.


She liked them both! :)

Knitting for Charity and Mother's Day

I'm still working on our Oddball Charity Blankets. Right now, I'm focusing on Lapghan #1, which needed surgery. It's looking better every day!

In addition to those projects, I'm trying to make a couple dishcloths and/or towels for Mother's Day. I started a Ballband Dishcloth last night, but had lots of pain in my left arm after just 12 rows. I'll have to take it slow.
