Missed the Deadline :(

As you know, I've been working on a rectangle shawl for the Afghans for Afghans charity. Unfortunately, I didn't finish it in time. TODAY was the day they were supposed to be received at the collection site.

I still have 3 or 4 inches left to knit, and it still needs a crochet border.

And tonight, I can't knit at all. I injured my shoulder somehow, and it is too tender to move at all. :(

So, I'll work on it again when my shoulder is better. I'll just hold onto it until they do another shawl collection. :D

Rectangle Shawl Update

I'm still working on the rectangle shawl for charity. The two end sections of knitting are now the exact same length, so now I'm going to knit the center section with a lace design. Hopefully, this will make the last 20 inches go quicker.

I decided to start from the other end, and then join the two sections together in the center.

It was a WONDERFUL thing to find so much good yarn for a great price. I'm a happy knitter!
