AWESOME KNITTING RESOURCE!

I just found a GREAT magazine at the bookstore last night.
It's actually a book, because it's thick and FULL of great info on knitting!! I just had to buy it.
It's called "Techniques Tips & Tricks to Hone Your Knitting Know-How" (Fall 2011)
It costs $14.99 on the shelf, but if you're smart, you'll use a coupon to get a discount on it. ;)
(Hurry - the coupon expires this week!)

Knitting Techniques, Tips & Tricks Fall 2011
If you're impatient, you can buy a download version of it here:

The book has information on what knitting tools to purchase, making a gauge swatch, seaming and garment assembly, making pockets, buttonholes, finishing necklines, dropping stitches, lace knitting, smocking, modular knitting, mitered knitting, circular knitting, making cables, doing colorwork (fair isle & intarsia), mosaic knitting, twined knitting, and adding embellishments. It is a wonderful resource!

Hi Shandeh, I hope you are having a nice week. I just got the new copy of Knitting Traditions magazine and I thought it might be something you would enjoy. It has so many wonderful stories about the history of knitting! It amazes me how intricate projects were in the past and what skill these knitters had. I also picked up the new Interweave Crochet, it has some really pretty sweaters. There is one on the cover that is really unique. It is part sweater/part shawl. I think I am going to try and make it after I finish my gloves. Have a lovely evening and a nice day tomorrow. Delisa :)

I saw that magazine at Barnes & Noble last week! You're right, it is excellent. :) I just love reading about knitting and crochet from the past. Have you ever looked at Piecework magazine? I found so many nice articles and patterns in that periodical. If I could afford it, I would subscribe to SEVERAL knitting publications, wouldn't you?
