Sadly, sometimes babies don't make it to term. So, I decided to knit a set for wrapping a lost baby with a bit of love for it's burial. :(
This set is for a tiny, one pound baby.

On March 6th i lost my babyboy..I was 4 months pregnant, and all my hopes n dreams vanished with smoke..
I was allowed to spend d night with him and one of the things i felt so abosolutely grateful for were the tiny hat and beautifully knitted blanket that the nurses had wrapped my baby in..The blankets was so pretty and warm,it comforted me..
when i found this article by chance i just knew it was so that i could tell it was so that i could tell you how grateful, and thankful for your work and the comfort that you brought me and im sure thousands of others that out there is someone knitting a beautiful warm blanket that will be used to wrap a tiny,125gram,baby...
thank you...
Thank you for sharing your story, divinechild. I'm very sorry for your loss, and so pleased to hear that you were comforted with the hat and blanket.
It's a joy to hear the rest of our story from your heart. *hug*
This is such a sweet, kind and generous thing to do. I lost my baby girl in Feb. 2011 at 21 weeks (Early Preterm Labor). I was so touched that someone took time to knit and donate an outfit small enough for babies like my daughter. I just wanted to thank you for your kind heart! Some mommy and daddy out there is appreciating you kindness.
