Here's the "Cottonfield in Hades" wrap I started in April. It's so cushy and luxurious.

When I put that aside, I decided to make a little toy for our monthly knit-along in the Knitting Help Forum. (www.knittinghelp.com)
I chose the Hula Hand Puppet on the Lion Brand website. Cute!
I used different leftover yarns in my stash, and had it completed in an hour or two. It was fun to make something simple and quick for a change.

OOhh I saw your project when the pattern came through on Ravelry today, and sent the link to a friend who is originally from Hawaii. She wrote thanking me, and said it cheered her up on a day when she badly needed it :-}
S, on her behalf, thank you, too!
Awww! What a sweet story.
Thanks for sharing. :D
